Advantages
Dishwasher safe, stylish white finish — The classic white colour provides a crisp, clean backdrop for food plating and presentation, while the plate is designed for dishwasher use for efficient cleanup.
Disadvantages
Melamine can show wear over time — Although durable, melamine may accumulate fine scratches or dulling from repeated use, especially in busy service settings or when cleaned aggressively. (General melamine dinnerware caution)
Comment
These 10″ square deep melamine plates from Thunder Group have been a great buy for our home-based food business. The white colour helps our colourful food really pop in photos and on-site presentations. The 1-inch depth keeps our sides and sauces contained nicely, and the fact that they come in a dozen means we have enough spares for events. Just keep in mind they’re not microwavable and you’ll want to avoid cutting directly on them to keep them looking fresh

Advantages
Modern square 10″ format with 1″ depth — The 10″ × 10″ (approx) square shape combined with a 1″ deep profile helps contain entrees, sides, sauces or salads, offering both presentation appeal and practicality.
Disadvantages
12-piece pack may exceed needs for home users — The product is packaged in a dozen (12 pieces), which is ideal for food service but may be more than what a typical household needs, affecting storage or cost per piece.
Comment
I run a small catering business and ordered the white Thunder Group 10-inch square plates (1″ deep) in a 12-pack. The first time we used them we already had compliments from guests on how clean and upscale the presentation looked. The material is lighter than heavy ceramic but still durable—perfect for large events. The fact that they’re dishwasher-safe is a big plus. If you’re looking for restaurant-grade square dinnerware that still looks good in a modern setting, I’d recommend these

Advantages
Commercial-grade melamine material — The plate is made of 100% pure, non-toxic melamine which offers break- and scratch-resistance, making it suitable for high-use environments such as restaurants, cafés, or catering
Disadvantages
Not microwave safe — Despite its durability, the melamine construction is not designed for microwave or oven use; items needing reheating must be transferred to other dinnerware.
Comment
We recently switched to the Thunder Group 10″ Square Plate (1″ deep, 12-pack) for our café’s plated lunch service and it’s been a major upgrade. The square shape looks very modern on the table-setting, and the 1-inch depth is just enough to hold mains with sides without things slipping off. The melamine feels strong and has survived our busy dishwasher cycle with no cracks so far. Only thing to note: we don’t microwave on them—so we still reheat on another plate—but for serving they’re ideal.
