I recently deployed the Sanitaire TRADITION upright vacuum in our office cleaning team and the large 18-quart capacity bag is a standout—you can run longer shifts without bag changes or frequent stops. The suction is solid thanks to the commercial motor, and for our carpeted corridors and hard-floor reception areas it did a reliable job. If I had to nit-pick: in tight cubicle aisles the narrower 12-inch head required more passes than a wider commercial machine. But for the price and durability, excellent value.

This upright vacuum feels built like a workhorse: the chrome hood, rugged build and tool-free maintenance features impressed our janitorial crew. We love the long 50-foot cord (fewer plug changes) and the balance between weight and power is good. It’s not ultra-quiet, and switching between carpet and hard floor you’ll still need to watch your technique, but it’s a dependable “commercial cleaning vacuum” that handles daily demands.
