Advantages
This H550 clone access point gives you a taste of modern WiFi 6 performance on a budget — good for guest rooms, small offices, or test setups without paying full OEM price.
Disadvantages
Clones tend to cut corners — firmware support, component quality, and long-term reliability might not match brand-name gear. Expect possible hiccups under heavy loads or future upgrades.
Comment
I popped in the H550 clone in my spare room to try it out — surprisingly solid for streaming, web use, and light loads. I wouldn’t bet my entire network on it, but for its price, it delivers more than I’d expected. Fun gamble for side projects or non-critical areas.

Advantages
Lower cost alternative
The clone version comes at a more budget-friendly price compared to genuine Ruckus units, allowing smaller venues or budget-conscious buyers to access advanced features.
Disadvantages
Uncertain hardware quality & reliability
With clones, the components (radios, RF front ends, power circuits) may be of lower quality, leading to higher failure rates, degraded performance over time, or early wear.
Comment
Not bad if you’re on a budget and just need something simple, but I wouldn’t trust it for a big or critical setup. Good for testing or light use
